SEO article is common text material, the main purpose of which is to “like” the search engines so that this text appears in the first places in the search engines for some search queries. In this case, the owner of a website or online store receives free visitors from the search engines, who then earn him money, for example, buying something from the site.
Of course, properly selected search queries are the basis for a successful promotion. But it’s just as important to put them correctly in the article.
5 Basic Rules for Writing an SEO Article
It is important to understand that different specialists and site owners may have different copywriting requirements because each of them has their own experience.
Keywords should look natural.
Search users can write queries as they wish, such as “price parquet Sofia”. Earlier, 5-7 years ago, such cumbersome search queries were added to the SEO text. This approach was the norm as search engines were still unable to determine the legibility of texts and banal spelling errors.
Now they can do all this automatically. Clumsy keyword texts fall into the category of suspicious. And they may even be given a manual check on such sites by “live” search engine employees!
So key queries, even if they appear cumbersome in the original list, should be added to the SEO text as naturally as possible, of course, you should try to keep the original search query.
Every 2-3 sentences – paragraph, every 2-3 paragraphs – subtitle.
Each SEO article should have well-structured material: the article should not be a single sheet without beginning and end.
Paragraphs (logical indents in the material that combine the meaning of the group of sentences) and subheadings (in fact, this is simply the structure of the article).
Why is it important to properly submit SEO text? Because structured, paragraph-broken material becomes more comprehensible, legible, and this improves behavioural factors: more people will be more likely to respond well to such articles and will read the material longer.
Therefore, always use subheadings and paragraphs in the formula: “Every 2-3 sentences – paragraph, every 2-3 paragraphs – subtitle.”
Also, it becomes easy to use the H1-H3 title meta tags in this case.
Even distribution of keywords in the text
Not all keywords should be in the beginning or end of an SEO article, in one or two sentences.
Keywords should be evenly distributed throughout the text because search engines analyze the text as gravel (in short sections) and if they estimate that the density of keywords per unit of text is more down, filter filters may be required.
The most important keywords should be added to the subheadings.
All keywords are always sorted by frequency. In simple words, some queries are typed 30 times a month, and some queries are searched 3000 times.
As a rule, the most frequent inquiries are the most competitive, ie. they have found more competitive sites, making it harder to break into the first page of search.
So in the right SEO article, you have to emphasize these important keys (these are usually the first 10-20% of the total number of requests).
To this end, the subheadings already mentioned are appropriate. In Microsoft Word documents, the headings are simply separated by a larger font, such as 18px, and, of course, the site will have special meta tags.
By their nature, the headings should be clear and informative, without “water” but with keywords.
By the way, in SEO copywriting, always separate bold keywords (CTRL + B) so that they can be seen in the total body of the text.
The first keyword should be entered in the article title in the first and last sentence.
As practice shows, search engines respond very well when the keyword is in the first and last sentence and, of course, in the title of the article.
As a rule, the first keyword is the most common and competitive one and therefore has increased attention.
